Our Courses

There are two Professional courses, both are MCA approved:

The General Operator's Certificate (GOC)

This is the global Merchant Navy or Super Yacht Operator's course.

It covers everything and entitles operation of all marine communications equipment.

This is an unlimited certificate for all sea areas - A1, A2, A3 & A4

This is the highest operator's certificate available. Course duration is eight days.

The Restricted Operator's Certificate (ROC)

This covers operation of VHF onboard a Merchant vessel and also includes Navtex, Epirbs and Sarts.

This is a limited certificate for sea area A1

There is one GMDSS "Leisure Market" course:

Long Range Certificate (LRC)

This is the AMERC four days (or five days with Satellite module) GMDSS course which includes HF SSB,  and all of the above.
